Suisse Normande
Thury-Harcourt
Located North of Suisse normande, Thury-Harcourt reason
for fame rests with its castle or rather, what is left of it.
This magnificent house was burned down in 1944 and all but disappeared,
except for the front and the entrance pavillions. The beautiful
gardens can still be visited.
This little town also offers many possibilities
to find accomodation and food. As in Clécy and Pont d'Ouilly,
there is a big centre for canoeing and kayaking.
